Kallusive Worldwide Holiday Release Party Tour

Posted by: GAIL ALL DAY

In true Kallusive fashion, we're celebrating another season of designs the best way we know how. This time we're pulling out all the stops to bring the Kallusive lifestyle to select cities across the globe that embody our message. First destination- Los Angeles, CA. This past Friday, a fashion show and dance performance held at the peak of a massive party in the heart of Hollywood did just that- and this is not your run-of-the-mill event either, thanks to Metropark, URB Magazine, 21XL Events Company and Usual Suspects LA.

Heavily promoted by Metropark (currently carrying exclusive designs from us) and URB Magazine (check out URB's Kallusive event coverage here), party goers and Kallusive supporters were treated to a debut performance by the Kallusive Dance Crew, music by the Kallusive DJs promoting the release of their mix CD Kallusive Volume One, and a preview of current and upcoming designs by way of a fashion show featuring the evening's Go-Go Dancers and Kallusive models. They walked down the runway wearing the latest threads, threw out a slew of tees to the audience while getting mobbed at the hip by front-row fanatics, and it was all in good fun.

Enjoy photos from PicMember, Usual Suspects LA, and URB Magazine.

Get in line early. Free before midnight as promised.

ON THE COURTS: Kallusive Staff vs Metropark Corporate

Posted by: GAIL ALL DAY

From industrial business parks and retail stores to outdoor basketball courts- Kallusive and Metropark crew members take care of business. The friendly folks at Metropark corporate offices challenged us to a game of basketball. Winner gets bragging rights until the next athletic competition is scheduled.

The rules sent via email by a Metropark staff person:

"Call your own fouls (However, if you call too many fouls, you maybe subject to some name calling)
The opposing team will call traveling and double dribbling.
It is friendly competitive game of basketball (leave the your ghetto tendencies at home)"

And on Thursday, November 6, Metropark can rightfully say they beat us.

I headed to the polls this morning as soon as they opened. If any of you encounter long lines or extreme weather, hang in there.

November 4, 2008 - Election Day - I voted

My voting experience in Los Angeles county at 8 this morning: overcast, morning drizzle, 57 degrees, neighbor's garage down the street, InkaVote system.
